1. Introduction & Scope

Welcome to CrafZio POS & Retail Billing, developed and operated by CrafZio Technologies ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to safeguarding the privacy, confidentiality, and security of store owners, staff, and customers whose transactional data is managed through our POS software.

This document explains what information is collected, how offline-first POS data is synchronized to our cloud, and how merchants retain 100% control over their catalog and transaction data.

Zero Ad Monetization: We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or broker your store's sales records, customer phone numbers, or inventory catalogues to third-party advertisers.

2. Information We Collect & Why

Sales & Invoices Invoice Numbers, Items Sold, GST Tax, Cash/UPI/Credit Payment method. Thermal receipt printing, daily revenue, tax compliance.
Customer Credit Ledger Customer Name, Customer Mobile (10 digits), Due Amounts, Paid Amounts. Udhar/credit book management, settlement tracking.
Device Diagnostics Device UUID, App Version, OS, FCM Token, Sync Timestamps. Multi-device conflict resolution, push alerts, crash logs.

3. Device Permissions & Purpose

  • Camera: Optional on-device product barcode and QR code scanning. No video or pictures are stored or uploaded.
  • Bluetooth: Pairing and printing receipts on wireless 58mm / 80mm ESC/POS thermal printers.
  • Push Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Low-stock alerts and subscription expiry warnings.
  • Internet State: Cloud backup and multi-terminal synchronization.

4. Security & Encryption Standards

All cloud network communications are secured using TLS 1.3 encryption (HTTPS). Passwords are never stored in plaintext and use cryptographic salted hashing. All password changes require a 6-digit SMTP verification OTP code sent to your registered email address.

5. Account Deletion Policy (Google Play Data Safety)

Merchants have the right to permanently erase their account and all store data at any time:

  • In-App: Navigate to Settings ➔ Legal & Compliance ➔ Account Deletion.
  • Support Portal: Submit an account deletion request at help.crafzio.in. All store data will be permanently wiped within 30 days.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using CrafZio POS & Retail Billing, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. CrafZio POS is a professional retail point-of-sale and invoicing software designed for retail stores, supermarkets, bakeries, and merchant enterprises.

2. License & Account Terms

  • Commercial License: You are granted a commercial license to use the software on authorized terminals as per your active subscription package.
  • Account Security: Your registered email can only be changed by platform administrators. Password updates require email verification OTP codes.
  • Offline Usage: The POS app functions without internet. Store owners are encouraged to connect periodically to sync offline records to the cloud database.

3. Subscription, Validity & Renewal Policy

Subscription packages (15 Days, 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or Custom Days) provide uninterrupted POS functionality, terminal sync, and cloud backup. Upon expiration without renewal, POS features lock automatically until the plan is renewed. Historical store records remain intact.

4. GST & Tax Disclaimer

Tax Compliance: Store owners are responsible for inputting correct GSTIN numbers, tax percentages, HSN codes, and sales prices. CrafZio Technologies provides invoicing tools and is not liable for merchant tax filings.

5. Limitation of Liability

CrafZio Technologies provides the software "as is" and shall not be liable for incidental loss of business revenue or third-party hardware printer malfunctions.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
